Description: The intent of Global Hand Inc. is to establish world-wide community programs that help to eliminate poverty and promote conditions that establish community personal and social well-being. We need immediate funding to commence two summer programs and start English acquisition schools throughout French speaking Africa. We are a tax-exempt---501c3 FL registered company since 1994. We help orphans, widows, and disadvantaged and privileged children and adults with education and training needs. Our current programs focus on literacy,English acquisition and vocational training. We believe speaking English and having a good skill can open windows of opportunities for those most in need. PLEASE GIVE ONLINE TODAY— A, 2.500 grant will start our summer art and education program that will serve a community school in Bamako Mali, scheduled to start August 1st.2008 This is the immediate education need for the summer program. This will provide a learning environment for children from PRE-K to 14 years old starting August 1st, 2006 for one month. It will be used to provide 25-40 youth ages 5-14 years old both literacy, English, Art and Fieldtrips during the summer in a private school in Bamako, Mali, starting August 1st and ending September 15th 2008. We need your urgent commitment. We certainly will appreciate your support of for disadvantaged and poor African youth who have no concept that learning can be FUN! A, 6.500 grant will send three teen age girls to America. Girls selected from various countries in Africa who before attending our schools had not hope for their future other than early marriage. They will learn how to open and operate a child care business or work in any existing school as teacher assistants for an income. A, 8.000 grant will start one new English speaking school in Guinea-scheduled to begin September 2008. A, 25.000 grant will start three new English Speaking schools and hire provide a stipend for one volunteer Director: * Burkina Faso * Guinea, * And Togo.
