VisuaLock is the manufacturer and patent owner of a totally new gunlock, NOT a trigger lock or a cable lock.
It consists of a Security Cartridge that acts like a dummy round which is placed into the chamber of the firearm; then a Security Rod is inserted down the barrel and a key locks the Rod into the Cartridge.
With the lock in place, no live rounds can be inserted into the chamber.
To remove, make a quarter turn with the key, the rod slips out of the firearm, cycle the chamber, and the firearm is ready for use.
The gun safety device is CA Department of Justice certified and tested against Picking, Pulling, Hack sawing and more. And is also approved in the states of Massachusetts and Maryland.
