Our startup company, CharTours is located in Newquay, Cornwall, UK. We are looking for all available options to raise $500k in small business funding in order to fuel the growth of our Transportation business. At this point, CharTours currently has expected annual gross sales in the region of $100k or Less. I have included some additional information below relating to the purpose of the funds and the type of funding that I think would be the best fit.
I am expecting another pilot to join in, as a joint partnership, however, all figures (annual gross/investment amount) is estimated from one persons' perspective. I have been speaking to the other person involved, and to be honest, unlike my area that has a very high tourism based community, his doesn't, although relocation is a possibility. But as this is still in the preliminary stages its difficult to try and make life changing decisions before the next step has arrived, it's very much a case of "as each step is acheived, we can move to the next" like with everything in life.
I will be COMPLETELY open and honest, I would rather walk away than put up with expensive calculated stress that would fail. I have gone over a lot of facts and figures, and the tourism market can cope, but, it is crucial that I not limit myself to one market sector, as the tourism sector is up and down over the year, so its best to quit the tourism/charter in the quiter months (which the quiter months should account for about 3-5 months out of the year) and expand my work load to more contracted work.
I am going too far into detail for a summery. I will leave it at this.
