I grew up Michigan and have traveled all over the country. Coney Islands have long been very popular in many northern states, particularly in the Detroit area. I have lived in Nashville TN, for 12 years. The population has more than doubled since I moved here with a high percentage of new residents coming from northern states. Waffle House would be our closest competition in this market. From my experince they are not nearly as well liked by northerners as an authentic coney island restaurant. Which is open 24 hours and serves breakfast any time. Along with coney dogs, chili, a full menu of entrees, (American and greek) appitzers and deserts. There are food ditributers who specialize in Coney Island foods. I know this would be a big hit. A man from Detroit has a very successful cone
