Description:
Tarpaul Records is an independent record label formed for the purpose of capitalizing on managing a diverse roster of artists, each of who appeal to a specific niche in the music marketplace. The company was founded in 1999 by KAMEKO who, being a successful recording artist was able to evaluate and analyze the commercial viability of implementing such a strategy. The company and KAMEKO have gained much initial success, having raised initial funding, signed its initial roster of artists with genres ranging from alternative to R&B to metal, and has gained an impressive amount of positive media coverage.
