Looking for an investor to fund my idea for a book and online magazine. Both involve the borders of the US. I have for 6 years now volunteered on the borders apprehending illegals and drug traffickers. I have done live tv debates on Long Island, NY. Also have done numerous radio and tv interviews and was in the documentary film "Border". Recently, gave a speech and powerpoint presentation at a Long Island Tea Party meeting.
I am looking to write a book about the various different border watch groups in the country and the different ways they operate. With the border being a hot topic now, I believe interest in this book would be high. I am also currently shopping to magazines an article I wrote on a drug bust our group recently made in Arizona.
The magazine would be called American Border and would cover the border situation from both a civilian and a law enforcement angle. It would also be a way for law enforcement to vent their frustration at their bosses without naming the individuals specifically. Topics covered would be tactics used, stories from border watch groups on their operations, what gear works best at what locations, stories from locals who have run ins with illegal aliens and drug traffickers, etc.
