I am looking for startup funding to develop an Internet service that would allow individuals who seek legal advice, legal forms, motions prepared, etc., by individuals not licensed necessarily to practice law, to obtain those services (by paraprofessionals)on a posted bid process.
The primary obstacle is that most states prohibit such advice/services by nonlawyers, primarily because it competes with those who regulate the systems (LAWYERS). The endaround is that the actual Internet site will be based in India, so the ability of US/State authorities would be stymied. For instance, a person in Florida needs Article of Incorporations for starting a company. He posts the job on the site (in India), and providers bid. The company acts as intermediary, handles payments, and most importantly, covers the link between the provider & requestor.
This is just the shell, and obviously alot of issues need to be addressed such as the business plan, the operational plan, etc.
Looking for individual willing to finance this initial research and planning. Estimate that initial planning/development would cost less than $50K, in exchange for equity stake. All technical needs would be bid out on sites such as (URL removed), etc.
