The M Lazy P Ranch, LLC, is a working ranch established in 1954. The property includes 1370 acres. We run 60 to 70 head of cattle and puts up about 100 ton of alfalfa hay each summer. The M Lazy P Ranch also has a functioning wedding venue and campsite business. The ranch host events at a dedicated area adjacent to the beautiful Stillwater River. We have over a mile of riverfront property. The Stillwater River has fantastic fly fishing. We also offer horseback riding and wagon rides year-round. Cattle branding is a yearly event at the ranch and would be a thrill for most people who have never seen or participated in one before.
The original ranch house, built-in 1920, beautiful inside and out, has been preserved the authentic rustic ranch character. From the front porch, there are striking views of the Beartooth Mountains and the Stillwater River Valley. Plans include hosting retreats, weddings, and other social events at the ranch house that rooms for guests to stay. We are working on plans to add a barn to the wedding and events venue.
We plan to add cabins around the ranch for guests to stay. Weddings in this area bring in as much as 5000 per event, and retreats and conferences would be even more lucrative.
