Eastern Star Financial Corporation has created an SPC called Eastern Foods LTD
to purchase a vast property of 617 acres of farming land consisting of grasslands,
produce lands, and grazing pastures. It is an established farm with over 600
animals consisting of 200+ Cows, 220+ Sheep, 100+ pigs, and ducks. The farm
operation is one of the largest suppliers of milk on the island, with Canadian
Holstein Dairy Cows. After the acquisition of the property, the company wants to
use a portion of the land to set up a poultry business which will consist of
constructing a modern poultry processing plant with the capacity of processing
20,000 birds a day. The property farm is located in St John, Barbados.
The country has a well-established poultry industry providing 3000 direct
employment and consumes over 10M kg of poultry products. The project sponsor
will engage KG Beheer & Management BV to design, build, start-up and hand over
the project within 2 years after its installation. All the equipment and tools will be
brought and installed by KG Beheer along with its partners. Since the poultry
plant will be installed on an established farm property all permits are in place and
ready to be transferred to our company once the sale transaction is completed.
