Description: Hi, The idea of Best4Kids came a few years ago when I was juggling duties of full-time stay-home dad and high-tech entrepreneur. My wife and I have been blessed with 2 wonderful kids and like absolute majority of parents we want only the best for them. I don’t mean the latest high tech gadgets or brand-name toys and clothing. There is nothing wrong with any of it but to us it has never been essential. I am talking about providing the best possible physical, mental, emotional and spiritual nourishment so our kids grow up right from the start having a solid base to become healthy and fullfield people. I have always enjoyed cooking as a hobby. I have studied various healthy diet systems and approaches, have been a serious student of Macrobiotics for years, and have seen the magic of the correct diet on my own family. This business idea is about integrating the best of Macrobiotic, European, American and Asian kids’ kitchen the same way we’ve been doing it at home and offer it to the local child care centers across New England (and later US-wide) as a turn-key meals solution. All of our meals will be prepared from scratch using only the best and freshest of organic ingredients with no artificial additives, chemicals, or common allergens. Whenever possible we will buy our ingredients from trusted and well-respected local sources in bulk , which will mean the highest standards of quality and additional saving passed on to our customers. My own experience with our kids convinced me that delicious home-cooked whole foods diet prepared with love and care consisting of... - real whole grains - healthy meats, poultry and fish - regular healthy soups - healthy soy and other types of beans - vegetables and fruits - healthy dairy (URL removed) one of the key ingredients to happy and healthy children (and adults). Here are just a few of wonderful people and sources who inspired me and from whom I have had a pleasure to, in one way or another, study from within the past few years: Warren Kramer of (URL removed) Masao of (URL removed) The Macrobiotic Path To Total Health, Michio Kushi and Alex Jack Feeding the Whole Family, Cynthia Lair Kids’ Kitchen, Flora Bird Super Baby Food, Ruth Yaron Lenore’s Natural Cuisine, Lenore Baum Please email me at (URL removed) if you are interested in this business idea. Warm wishes, Paul Borenstein Founder/CEO of Best4Kids
