I am currently in the process of buying out my business partner. It will be a leveraged buy-out, as he is willing to carry a note for approximately 70% of his portion of the value.
We have hired an insurance industry expert, and the evaluation should be complete by mid-January. We both believe the business to be worth approximately $25 to 35 Million.
I am looking to find between $3 and 4 Million for his initial down-payment, and want the lending to be secured by the ongoing revenues/receipts of the business.
