An opportunity has been presented to me to purchase an established bar which is owned by a friend that is going thru a divorce. The bar has been established for 10 years current owner for 5 years, loyal local clientel. Bar averages 17-26k a month with absentee owner and just being opend with $1 beer night wednesday and kareoke on thursdays. I plan on adding more tables, bringing in 5 plasma t.v.s and setting up the week schedual as saturday and sunday morning till afternoon sports on t.v. with a buffet cover charge to get in to cove buffet and discounted beer, monday night sports also till 10p.m. thn normal bar, tuesday kareoke, wednesday $1 beer, thursday college night, friday and saturday night normal bar night with a d.j. I currently work for Kaiser permenente as a pharmacy clerk full time. Conections thru pharmacist I am able to access the U.O.P. faternaties and along with advertising at U.O.P. and local junior college I will have a large draw for college night while not affecting my local clientel already in place. Since I am not leaving my position with in kaiser I willl need to make minimal profit first couple years so I will be able to pay loan back as soon as possible. Loan and intrest paid or flat amount on top of loan is negotiable. I have 10 years restaurant managment experience all thos years are with restaurants that had a liquore license and 3 of those years the restaurant had an actual bar/lounge attached to restaurant. I will have a bar manager work the hourse iam not available, he has bartenders license with 8 years experience.
