Osmos is the next social networking site that's going to sweep the nation. It does everything that facebook does, plus the main feature of the site is the ability to video chat online (using flashplayer 10) with other friends, or search for other online users to video chat with based on age, location, sex, interests, etc. My site will also incorporate a games section, where users can play games together like Texas Hold'em via webcam and earn points for winning. These points can be used for free music downloads or songs they can put in their profile. The site will also feature a music section, where solo artists can play or sing live online in a concert-like setting and users can watch them perform and rate them. The highest rated artists would be displayed on the homepage. This would be a way for musicians to get their name out there. So I'm basically combining all the best aspects of facebook, skype, myspace, tinychat etc and putting them all together on one site. Also, people will be encouraged to log on to the site every day because by using the site in various ways they can earn towards building up their social rating (this increase in social rating has a daily cap). The higher your social rating, the more exclusive online clubs you can gain access to on the site (clubs are basically video chat rooms with about a dozen or so other people) where you can talk to other users of similar social rating.
