I currently have a small spice business, running spice blends out of 3 butcher shops and 1 restaurant. My spices have been selling in the 3 butcher shops for the last 2 years. The owner of two of the shops is selling one of the shops. I worked at this location for 2 years and found that the meat market industry is the perfect invironment for spice blends, rubs and marinades. I have been a chef for the last 18 1/2 years, so I know what works on food. The market doesn't end with just the retail. In the one location, I would like to branch it out into the wholesale distribution of meat and spices to the local Hotels, Country Clubs and Restaurants.
