The Treme Hideaway is going to be a speakeasy lounge in New Orleans, LA. featuring live entertainment jazz and blues music. It is located in the Treme area is which has a history of strong music culture, especially the genre that Treme Hideaway intends to focus on. One of the owner's of the club, Derrick Tabb, is a musician who grew up in the same area as well a lot of well known musicians throughout the region and country. He currently is the drummer for Grammy Award winning Rebirth Brass Band.
The City is currently putting a lot of money into this area because of it's historic value in arts and music. The second owner, Patrice Dangerfield, owns the building where Treme Hideaway will be located and is a practicing attorney looking to change careers.
