Description:
My name is Pamela J. Wangenheim. I have a Riding Instruction and Horse Training business that I started in 1989. It has been very successful and is currently active in Moorpark, California. I have 20 horses and students in full training. In addition to what I am currently doing, I am starting a Non-Profit Organization that will help in the recovery and home placement for neglected, abused, and unwanted animals. This would include horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats, some exotic animals (Iguannas), and other domestic animals.
It is a growing problem for people and the pets in this economy to have so many unwanted and stray animals being dumped or starved. This can be helped if the public was made more aware. Those that are in a position to donate their money or time are mostly unaware of the severity of this growing problem.
My goal is to have a facility where these animals can be helped medically, nutritionally, emotionally, and then placed in a new situation where they can live out their lives.
I am in an area where their are many properties available for sale that would serve this purpose perfectly. I am looking for the funding to not only get this started, but to assist this company for the first three years while it builds awareness in the public.
