We are a non profit organistation bsed in Cape Town, South Africa.
As a trustee and having relocated to Cape Town in 2016, I noticed the high numbers of unskilled adults as well as a high level of unemployment. I would love to be able to set-up a skills centre (offering woodwork, sewing skills, baking,etc) where we would be able to make and sell items produced by the students.
Awehness Foundation Trust started off by offering literacy classes (2017-2019) to children between the ages of 5 and 13yrs, we had to stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am looking for funding to start up a SKILLS CENTRE.
