Description:
Concept of my “Deaf Culture Café
Dragonfly Café Connection, unlike a typical café, will provide a unique forum setting for dining, communication, and entertainment. It will have great interior decorations using the medium of Deaf culture. The Dragonfly is a symbol of transformation and breaking barriers; this concept will inspire customers when they walk into this unique café.
The goal with this Dragonfly Café is to provide the community with a place for social, education and entertainment purposes. Atmosphere is created for sign language communication fun along with a great dining experience among beginners, novices, and others. With an educational décor, Dragonfly Café will also provide as part of menu, healthy organic and traditional dishes for breakfast and lunch along with recycled/green products in a Deaf friendly and accessible environment for all. We believe in equal opportunities for all, thus we will encourage anyone; disabled, deaf, hard of hearing or hearing people fluent with ASL to apply for work in this café.
Dragonfly Café Connection would be the first café in the nation that will reflect language and cultural information about the Deaf community.
