Description:
My name is Owen Sakawa, and I am the Founder & CEO of RepairNet. A mobility platform helping consumers get convenient, reliable, and quality accredited mechanics wherever they are, whenever they want and save up to 30% in maintenance and repair costs.
We have a first-mover advantage and we’re initially targeting the $900M Kenyan market for mobile auto repair. We make our money by collecting a 15% transaction fee from auto detailers. We acquire customers primarily through online marketing and we get a 5x return on our customer acquisition cost. In our first six months, we’ve signed up 1,600 mechanics and 16,000 consumers. We’re making $162K a month and doubling users and revenue every month.
We have an experienced team with deep domain expertise such as Owen Sakawa, former founder of DigiPass and Chief Product Officer for DigiPass, Chavy Goh, former founder of Bolt Asia, and APAC MSN Program Manager for Microsoft, and Teddy Njoroge former Managing Director at ESET.
Our Advisors who have each personally invested in the company and include Ian Hull, (Former COO, General Motors), Dr. Mousa Bello (Director Innovations and Industry Relations, Huawei Technology) and Ben Roberts (Chairman & Group CTO, Liquid Telecom).
I am raising $500K seed round of funding for RepairNet So we can reach $48M in sales, scale/refine marketing/customer acquisition, scale customer service (mechanics), and scale infrastructure.
Thank you!
