Dreamsavers is owned and operated by Dreamsavers Thrift Shop, a non-profit organization. A portion of our proceeds from Dreamsavers, a thrift shop also retailing antiques and collectibles, go to various Cancer Support Groups in the Carson City area. We ensure that these groups assist cancer survivors and patients with the day to day needs not covered by employment or insurance, personal expenses such as medications, utilities, travel to doctors or labs, etc. We have been in business for only 3 years and have found that our greatest expense is rent. We are looking for funding to purchase a building (or have a buidling donated) from which we can do our job assisting our cancer community without having to put the majority of our store's profits into rent alone.
