F&N Holding primary line of business is consulting and investment matching. We have identified a potential opportunity in the area of small scale gold mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently small scale miners organized in cooperatives mine the gold which is then sold to the international market via Uganda and intermediaries. This process is currently unorganized and unstructured which makes many potential gold buyers hesitant to travel to Uganda or Congo to negotiate deals, similarly the local cooperatives don't have the organization, knowledge or the financial power to reach out internationally on their own.
F&N´s plan is to invest directly in these cooperatives and in so doing have a controlling stake in the mining operations. With this stake, we would bring not only a business structure to the operations from start to sales, including logistical support as well as much needed equipment to increase production.
With our network of contacts currently in three continents (Dubai, Cambodia, London, and the USA) we would also be able to have a presence where our potential clients would be able to undertake their gold transactions in a comfortable and stress free environment.
The returns we plan and would like to provide to the cooperative and mining community where we mine are, education, health, small infrastructure projects and up in one form or another the standard of living of the community.
