Beatz 106 is the #1 English Speaking Top 40 Hip-Hop station in Costa Rica. It was founded 2 years ago with a vision to bring the people of Costa Rica what they wanted in entertainment. We now realize that we need to bring the people something different- something they need- awareness about global warming and the effect it is going to have on their generation.
Beatz 106 wants to keep Costa Rica green and we realize it starts with us. We pledge to be a green station standing up for Costa Rica and educate the public on how to save our natural resources and stop global warming.
BEATZ 106 has a unique opportunity to change Costa Rica for the better. We reach over 80,000 costa ricans as well as the foreigners in the country. Our listeners are predominantly in the ages of 14-29. We understand the importance of educating our listeners about how our actions affect the future- our listeners ARE the future. We will change the youth of the world and in turn change our world.
