The idea I have is to put a neighborhood restaurant/bar on a popular east dallas strip. The strip brings in alot of people during the day with its unique dining and shops, and at night it is a hot spot with all of the bars. My idea is to combine both the daytime and nighttime elements into one business. The food that I plan on serving would include steaks, chicken entrees, sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers. At night I plan on having live music acts perform to help draw in business. I have been in the restaurant business for 16 years and have worked every position from busboy, dishwasher, cook, server, bartender and manager. I have been managing a bar for the past three years which has a similar concept. I also have many local contacts and would be able to ensure that I can get many parties and have organizations hold their functions at the bar.
