We are registered as a limited-liability corporation. Our two founders, myself and my wife are co-owners with equal shares. No outside investors are involved at this point, though there is an opportunity for that now as we move forward.
I run the operation side of the business, and my wife does the book, she graduated with her Doctor and master’s degree from the Medical College of Virginia and had extensive experience in accounting. We have a General Manager with 20 plus years in the beverage business he is in charge of overall day to day activities. We also have two other staff with Bachelors of Business (Sales and Marketing). . All four of us have a hand in nearly everything. We all contribute to marketing ideas and operations with a combined total of 3o years worth of contacts and beverage experience.
In our first two years, we are projecting a modest $590,204 gross revenue year 1 and 694,720 years 2 with a 65-70% profit margin. We expect packaging supplies and fuel to be our top expense. The first-year payroll costs will be minimal if we do most of the work. As the business grows, we will bring on employees as business warrants. We will have a modest advertising budget — much of our marketing will be the word of mouth and no-cost social media — as well as a small maintenance and repair budget for the trucks and equipment.
