Description: SATOR Therapeutics, LLC- Cleveland, Oh is developing innovative oncolytic virus platform for the comprehensive treatment of metastatic cancers, including advanced, the most aggressive forms. Looking for pre-series "A" investment (up to $1-2 million US dollars) on a convertible note with 25% discount. Cancer is yet the second leading cause of death globally. The key existing therapies (chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy) are only partially effective and are associated with severe side effects. We employ oncolytic virus anti-cancer therapy, a type of therapy that uses viruses to kill cancer cells leaving normal cells intact and stimulate the immune system to help the body fight even advanced stages of cancer, avoiding any serious side effects. At SATOR Therapeutics LLC, we have a comprehensive panel (nearly 30) of none-pathogenic viruses which are able to kill cancer cells very specifically and efficiently. Note that viruses replicate inside the infected cells, utilizing cell replication machinery. However, normal/differentiated cells are not proliferating fast, since they are already built to function and perform their duties. Also, normal cells have an anti-viral protection mechanism - interferon response to fight viral infection. What viruses need for their fast and efficient replication is fast proliferating (cancer) cells. It appeared that, in addition, in many cancer cells, the system of interferon response is broken and thus is unable to efficiently protect cancer cells from viral infection. Furthermore, being infected and killed by virus, cancer cells expose their antigens to the immune system, and become "visible" to different types of immune cells, including Natural Killers - T cells. Our oncolytic virus therapy approach is different from those existing on the market and allows to overcome many existing hurdles. 1. We are using non-engineered, non-pathogenic enteroviruses that are parts of the normal human gut flora, however these viruses can specifically and efficiently kill cancer cells. 2. We have a panel of 30 different viruses that can be tailored to a specific type of cancer and used sequentially and/or simultaneously to combat deadliest types of cancers such as glioblastoma, astrocytoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, mesothelioma, colon cancer, etc. even in their advanced stages. 3. Application of several viruses in sequence allows to escape the adaptive immunity elicited by the previously used virus, enabling the treatment of relapse. 4. Application of several viruses simultaneously increases their therapeutic effect. 5. The usage of these viruses is associated with minimum side effects (such as mild rise in temperature that can be easily controlled by antipyretics). 6. We are using an innovative approach of virus delivery to tumors that is substantially increasing the efficacy of treatment. 7. We have obtained overwhelming evidence showing safety and efficacy of our approach in cellular, animal and human (compassionate use) studies. 8. Each virus is accompanied by a companion diagnostic which predicts the efficacy of the virus in the patient’s specific cancer tissue. 9. Human compassionate use data were validated by independent clinical trial monitor. 10. Our management and advisory teams have proven track record of innovation and product development.
