Description:
The general purpose of the Summerlin Preparatory School’s, a charter school, program is to establish an alternative means within the existing public school system in order to provide innovative learning opportunities and creative educational approaches to improve the education of students. As most know, Clark County School District is considered one of the weakest districts in the country, Summerlin Prep will offer parents a back-to-basics prep school education for their children without the high cost of tuition.
Summerlin Preparatory School exemplifies the definition of a public charter school as a public school that is nonsectarian, is chosen by parents for their children and is open to all students on a space available basis.
