Description: West Virginia Tire Disposal, Inc. has operated from south central West Virginia since 1997. Customers pay West Virginia Tire Disposal to shred all types of tires into 4” to 6” pieces and ultimately bury them on West Virginia Tire Disposal’s approved site in Summersville, West Virginia. West Virginia Tire Disposal is located on over 700 acres that is lined with untapped coal, oil and gas, and timber possibilities also. These untapped resources are very substantial and cannot be overlooked. The license to shred and bury tires is extremely difficult, if not impossible to obtain, and in itself a very valuable asset. There are two other licensed tire shredders in the state of West Virginia and neither company does a fraction of the business that West Virginia Tire Disposal does now. While West Virginia Tire Disposal income and tire tonnages have been consistent for years, we have identified a growing market for tires cut into 2” pieces referred to as “TDF”. TDF is being sold to power plants, concrete plants and many other industries also. The appetite for TDF has seen substantial growth in the overseas market and continues to grow. By selling the tires to end use customers, we would eliminate tipping fees paid to the State in addition to the profit generated from the sale of the TDF to others. To do so we would need to upgrade our equipment and facility at our base operation. There is plenty of room for increased efficiencies in our labor and equipment cost at the facility now and the purchase of the equipment for the TDF would take a major role in accomplishing that goal. We believe that any additional labor costs will be offset by the various changes we intend to implement that will reduce our labor and equipment costs by eliminating duplication of efforts in addition to elimination of work performed with the purchase of the new conveyors and equipment. In addition, with the increased efficiencies to the operation of the business, the State of West Virginia will require all tires collected by the State to now be sent to West Virginia Tire Disposal because we now have an end use for the tires in lieu of burying them. Bob Thompson, principle, has a contact that is the Northeast Region Manager for Cooper Tire and is very anxious to refer his customers to sell their used tires to West Virginia Tire Disposal. In addition to the opportunities with the tire disposal company, the property has even greater possibilities in the untapped coal and oil and gas on the property. The coal had already been licensed to mine years ago before the highwall mining process had been created or used and the permit expired. With the efficiencies of highwall mining, coal can be removed over 1,000 feet back into the mountain without removing the entire mountain. We feel that with the millions of tons of coal in the property, the opportunities are too great to ignore removing or mining the coal from the property. In doing so, we intend to hire a competent company to highwall mine and surface mine the coal from the property. In addition to the coal, there is an interest from the gas companies to sign a lease to drill a horizontal well to reach the Marcellus Shale reserve. These wells will prove substantial in creating an overflowing abundance of royalty income. We are looking for funding in order to acquire the business as well as purchase equipment upgrades and start mining the coal. The terms of the agreement as well as a full spread business plan/concept outlining 3 year projections and operating statements/financials can be received by emailing Molly at (URL removed). We look forward to hearing from you.
