The basic idea for Reflections Foundation LLC(which i'd like to be a hybrid profit/non-profit org) is a 2 fold proposition.
1. For artists of all mediums collaborating to create items for sale to provide funding for various profit/non-profits, recovery centers, arts programs in schools, etc...
The basis of which stems form the album "Buttons & Threads" album released by Tate Music Group, which features Tor Hyams(founder Kidzapalooza/HyLo Entertainment, Grammy Nominated Producer) Carl DiStefano(Exec. Dir. Lighting at Paramount Pictures/Seventh Ray{band}, and Peter DiStefano(former guitarist Porno For Pyros, currently Lance Herbstrong)
These men's involvement in my current project,( which can be heard at (URL removed) on the song "Reflections(buttons and threads)" inspired/nurtured this idea.
2nd- The Mike Vavrek Band. Touring, merchandise, performances. Through the band, We would have a much wider scope of advertising platforms, promotions, and communications with other artists as a whole thus creating a physical presents in the communities which in turn would further the growth of the Reflections Foundation's credibility, viability, while attracting interested parties.
