Description: ScramDog is a device for bicyclists that deters and repels dogs. It solves the problem of dogs chasing, biting, and knocking cyclists off their bikes and does it without harming the dog and without the rider having to even remove a hand from their handlebars. ScramDog is a global product as cycling is more popular in foreign countries than in the United States. Bicycle riders are at a great disadvantage when it comes to dogs chasing and attacking them. The cyclist can be riding up to 30 miles per hour and usually has only split seconds of warning when a dog chases and attacks them. Cyclists resort to yelling at the dog or dangerously try to kick the dog. Other methods of deterring the attacking dog currently used include throwing a water bottle at the dog, trying to spray the attacking dog with pepper spray, or blowing a handheld horn at the dog. However, each of these maneuvers requires the rider to remove a hand from their handlebars in order to access the handheld devices. Having to take your hand off of the handlebars is dangerous at any speed but even more so when scared and panicked while being chased by dogs.
