Description:
Tires are something that most Americans in our car-centric society often take for granted on a day to day basis. But for drivers who have had the experience of being stranded on the side of the road with a foot pump jack, and a bulky, factory-made wrench, the need to have been better prepared with the right tools is all too apparent. Enter The Spare Kit.
The Spare Kit is an all-in-one kit that makes changing a tire easy, fast, and safe. The Spare Kit includes everything a motorist would need to quickly change a tire in the event of a flat. Easy-to-use tools include an electric jack that lifts the vehicle with the push of a button, an electric impact wrench with four adapters to quickly remove lug nuts, a hub cap puller, an electric light for better vision, a reflective triangle and two wheel chocks for safety, gloves, and step by step instructions all in a molded case that fits into any trunk. While these products are available at any auto parts retailer, they have never before been combined and marketed as an all-in-one kit. The Company believes that motorists currently don't realize they need a kit like this until it's too late and with ample funding for marketing and inventory plans to raise awareness of this need, and build the brand and successfully market the Spare Kit as an all encompassing solution for fixing a flat.
Tire safety is essential to the health of the vehicle, as well as the consumer. On average, every American will experience five flat tires in the course of his or her driving lifetime. Tragically, 1.2% of all U.S. traffic fatalities are caused by flat tires. The Company will sell its repair kits directly to consumers and businesses through its interactive website. A November 2010 study from Google indicates that 78% of consumers made auto part purchases through a specific website, rather than a dealership or search engine referral. The Spare Kit will face competition from existing manufacturers that sell spare tire repair kits; however, none of the existing products on the market today offer the same complete solution that is provided by the Spare Kit.
Recognizing the marked absence of a comprehensive set of supplies to help drivers quickly change flat tires, The Spare Kit will promote its user-friendly tools and commitment to safety as the core tenets of the business. The Company will operate a robust website, which will be supported by a variety of Internet advertising techniques, as well as extensive PR activity and trade show participation to bolster word of mouth. The Company will hire a marketing firm to coordinate the latter components of its campaign, which intend to sufficiently brand The Spare Kit as the must-have product for any drivers roadside safety and confidence in repairing a flat.
Michael Blot will own and operate the Company. Mr. Blot is a longtime executive leader, amassing a career of more than 23 years as a business owner and supervisor. He has independently operated a wood finishing company since 2008, preceded by six years as VP of Operations for JK Moving & Storage. The first 15 years of his career were spent with Dominos Pizza and Papa Johns Pizza, including roles as Area Supervisor, Franchise Consultant, and Co-Owner. Key skills include employee training, revenue generation, debt reorganizing, and mitigating employee turnover.
To achieve the Companys objectives, The Spare Kit, LLC is seeking $150,000 in total funding through outside investment.
