ATHRS is a new-age pop-punk electronic rock act with influences stemming from early 2000s pop, punk rock, and mainstream electronic music of today. ATHRS was created by Miguel Torres in the summer of 2014. ATHRS is a genre bending act promoting creativity, individuality, perserverance, fun, hope and the ability to succeed through multiple entertainment platforms, such as music videos, VR, vlogs, live performance and more.
The state of the music industry at the beginning of 2017 sets the perfect stage for the success of an artist of this nature. Blink 182, Panic at the disco, Justin Bieber x Jack U, Twenty One Pilots, and Krewella have all seen major success in the past year. ATHRS provides a unique mainstream level act that would follow up the EDM bubble burst. A unique twist between a live band, electronic music production, and smooth vocals that no other electronic act currently provides in the events and festival circuit.
I am seeking the necessary funds in which will be used to launch the ATHRS project on a real scale the goals for 2017 include multiple song and music video releases accompanied by full marketing campaigns which will lead to multiple appearances on the major venue and festival circuit , mass amounts of views on social content, increased artist awareness and returned revenue for all involved.
