Starting with given job opportunities to the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity’s “CVOEO” Community Kitchen Academy graduates and referrals from Vocational Rehabilitation “VocRehab”.
Chef Papi just doesn’t want to bake; he wants to bake high quality GF products to hire people. Chef Papi wants to become an employer of second (many) chances for employees who want to work and are willing to be trained.
After all, it’s a business, not a rehabilitation or social service program, and must be run like an authentic business with a big heart and not charity. This distinction will be made very clear with positive policies, procedures and training.
