I started making cheesecakes over 16 years ago. My husband wanted cheesecake for his birthday, the only problem was, I did not like cheesecake at all! After playing 'Scientist" in the kitchen for a couple weeks, I finally came up with a recipe that I liked! Since then I have created over 90 recipe's, and the most unique thing about them is that they do not contain eggs or sour cream. After years of making them for friends and family, my middle son deciding to become a US Marine and being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I thought I would listen to what everyone was telling me which was, to open a cheesecake shop. October 2011, along with my friend, Maria, I leased a space in Brentwood. We opened our doors as, "Heavenly Cheesecakes & More" on May 19th 2012. It has been the most exhausting, rewarding, frustrating, scary, best life altering desision I ever made! (Kind of like having a child!) After a few months of sleepless nights and non-stop baking, Maria decided that the business was not as fun as she thought it would be, so she left. I have two contracted employee's that help me, one who specializes in "cooking" and the other specializes in creating beautiful cakes. My cheesecakes are currently being sold at Mello's Pizza and at many other special event's in the bay area. Heavenly Cheesecakes offers a variety of desserts including Gourmet Cupcakes, Cookies, Pies, and Muffins. Customers come to Heavenly Cheesecakes and enjoy their desserts with a cup of hot chocolate, apple cider, or coffee in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere while using free WiFi, or they will package it up to take home. Heavenly Cheesecakes also specializes in dessert bars, offers themed birthday parties and tea parties, as well as baking supplies and themed party supplies for customers to purchase with or without their cakes.
