Michael Johns is a healthcare executive with 15 years of executive and senior management experience in the medical supply, medical equipment, home health and pharmaceutical industries and nearly a decade of experience in senior government, government relations, public policy and investor relations capacities.
Mr. Johns currently serves as Divisional Head and Corporate Vice President of Electric Mobility Corporation, a global medical device company, where he has successfully grown the company’s Insurance Assignment division from $3.8 million to $30 million in revenue in three years. Prior to this, he was Vice President and a member of the executive management team of Gentiva Health Services, a Fortune 1000, NASDAQ-traded corporation and the nation's largest provider of home healthcare and specialty pharmaceutical services. Mr. Johns began his healthcare career as a corporate and product marketing manager for Eli Lilly and Company, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical corporations.
Prior to entering the healthcare industry in 1994, Mr. Johns served as White House speechwriter and advisor to the President of the United States and as a senior policy aide to a U.S. Senator and Governor. He began his career as a policy analyst and editor at The Heritage Foundation, one of the world's leading public policy research institutes.
Mr. Johns has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, National Review and other leading national magazines and newspapers. He appears regularly on national television and radio, including CNBC, C-SPAN, Fox News, PBS and other networks.
Mr. Johns holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Miami, where he majored in economics and graduated with honors.
