My Better Offer (MBO) is a new concept to empower grocery store shoppers with the ability to
electronically scan store products with their mobile phone during a shopping experience in order to
access special product offers generated by product promoters and retailers. The scanned product
data will be transmitted to a server where special product offers would be located and returned /
displayed on the user’s mobile device. The user could then accept or reject an offer while
shopping and redeem accepted offers during checkout.
