Description: 1.0 Executive Summary The only attraction missing from Las Vegas’ entertainment scene is a thrilling, high-energy haunted house that operates all year long. Fremont Freak Experiment, LLC (also referred to as “the Company”) will be a start-up venture that will establish operations upon receipt of funding. The Company will launch a horror-inspiring haunted house under the popular light show on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. It will utilize animatronics, larger-than-life-sized characters, ghastly recorded sounds, lighting techniques, and other innovations to terrify even the most steel-nerved of thrill seekers. Fremont Freak Experiment will roll out a complete entertainment plan that will include merchandise sales, admission tickets, strategic alliances, and a tattoo parlor to generate increased customer traffic to the performances. Almost 40 million people flock to Las Vegas each year, which contributes $40 billion tourism spending each year. In addition to enjoying the city’s attractions and gambling, the average visitor spends $100 on shows and performances. The Company’s intended location on Fremont Street places it in a vibrant and historic area that experiences heavy visitor traffic and is the premier attraction in downtown Las Vegas. Fremont Street, which the Las Vegas Travel Guide aptly describes as “part futuristic mall, part urban theater,” it is the ideal setting for this one-of-a-kind attraction, and is currently experiencing much growth due to new construction and expansion. Fremont Freak Experiment will experience competition from other haunted houses, but it will set itself apart by staying open all year to take advantage of the constant barrage of tourists to the city. In order to attract tourists and Las Vegas residents to its haunted house, Fremont Freak Experiment will implement a multi-pronged marketing campaign that utilizes a variety of multimedia outlets. While constantly capitalizing on the substantial foot traffic its namesake street boasts, Fremont Freak Experiment will use a strategic blend of guerilla marketing tactics, online marketing, traditional and business-to-business advertising, and community marketing channels to maximize publicity and coverage of this unique haunted house and tattoo studio combination. Forms of advertising will include a comprehensive website, promotional items, print media saturation, foot traffic, radio spots, television commercials, prominent signage, billboards, partnerships with businesses, coupons, and attendance at trade shows. Above all, Fremont Freak Experiment recognizes that its most organic marketing tool will be positive word of mouth recommendations from customers who will tell their friends, co-workers, and family members about their frightful and entertaining journey through the Company’s haunted house. Through these advanced efforts, Fremont Freak Experiment intends to position itself as the only year-round haunted house and tattoo shop in Las Vegas. Michael Henry will own and operate the Company. He has worked as an airbrush artist for the past 18 years and for the last 10 years has been self-employed. He has experience painting almost everything, including T-shirts, cars, motorcycles, helmets, and boats. Mr. Henry’s work has been featured in Easy Rider and Truckin’. His canvas prints are exhibited in many local galleries and shops and his entrepreneurial proclivities have afforded him the ability to make a living through his creative pursuits. He is a dedicated craftsman, using his creativity and ingenuity to perfect customer’s orders and will use his passion and business aptitude to grow the Company’s name and reputation in the area. To achieve the Company’s objectives, Fremont Freak Experiment, LLC is seeking $1.0 million in total funding through outside investment.
