Description:
My idea is a tech bar for gamers. The bar would feature food and drinks and would be wired for both high speed hard-lines and high speed wireless connections. Games such as X-Box, Playstation and Wii will be available for patrons to use. Additionally for PC gamers there will be PC stations available and of course the ability to bring their laptop and connect to the network. If a patron doesn't have their own controllers or their own laptop, for a small rental fee the patron can use a pair of the bars controllers or a laptop computer. The bar would be darkened with neon and recessed lighting, couches, "buddha" chairs, mini bars and tables. An open space would be available for the new dance video games so a large number of people can be involved or for individuals. Drinks would be liquors, beers, wines and energy drinks. Food selections would be "bar" foods e.g. nachos, cheese sticks, wings, burgers, sandwiches, dips. Staff will include management, servers, bartenders, bussers and tech staff. Tech staff would be necessary to maintain the servers and the network. The Bar would generate income on food and drink sales. Additionally the bar would host tournaments during seasonal events. NCAA basketball and Football, NBA, NFL, MLB, Hockey, Soccer, Tennis and even bowling. Ideally the location would be located in a college town, like Dayton, and be in a building that has levels to it, or the ability to be leveled.
