Description: The Michelangelo Experience, LLC has created an international tour of the same name which will feature eighteen bronze sculptures cast from molds taken from Michelangelo‘s original marble masterpieces. The purpose of the tour is to celebrate the beauty, genius and inspiration of Michelangelo‘s works and bring his unparallel artistry to the public. We will accomplish this through the utilization of a model similar to that employed in the King Tut Tour, which brought the young ?boy king? to America and enabled millions of people to experience the wonder of the King Tut burial chamber treasures. Today, for the first time in history, the general public has the opportunity to experience this singular collection of Michelangelo‘s sculptures --- the only such collection the world will ever know --- first-hand. The complete Michelangelo Experience Tour will open at the Michelangelo Museum of Casa Buonarroti in Florence, Italy on October 20, 2010. Preliminary approval has been received for the tour‘s second stop, which will take place at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC in February 2011. This will represent the launching of the North American leg of the tour. Additionally, as an adjunct to the sculpture exhibition, original drawings by Michelangelo may be included from the Casa Buonarroti Museum in Florence. It is more than sculpture that we are bringing to the world. We are placing Michelangelo‘s greatest works before the mass of humanity --- most of which would never see anything more than pictures of this master‘s work in art books. Indeed, the entire world knows of Michelangelo, and yet all but a tiny percentage of its population is ever in the same country as are his works! We are changing that. The greatest art ultimately should be shared with the world. We are making that happen. We are putting these works on the world‘s doorstep. You might call this a project. You might call this a business model. And you would be right about both. Whatever you call it, you will see, the deeper you look into it, that it is much more than these things. In bringing Michelangelo‘s masterpieces to the world we feel a sense of purpose that, quite plainly, does not often accompany investment opportunities. You are about to see that this is an endeavor like no other you have encountered.
