Description:
It all started in 2005 when three high school students (Donnie Stephens, Brandon Paris, Michael Dutton) planned to field two Legend cars at Lanier and Atlanta Motor Speedway under the "Copperhead Motorsports" banner for the 2006 racing season. The year 2006 rolled around and the team didn't even have one Legend car yet. In July of 2006, Michael Dutton took over the team, relaunched the team and renamed it "Michael Dutton Racing" and named Brandon Paris the team's General Manager. In September of 2007, Michael Dutton Racing won four heat races and one feature race in just it's 15th start!
