I've been roasting coffee as a hobby for 4-5 years. Finally made it an official business in January of '09 because i had to start charging my friends, family, and coworkers for my coffee because they were depleting my stash of expensive coffee! So i created a website, complete with shipping implementation. Have been dealing mainly with retail to friends via word of mouth and have my first wholesale account with a local church.
I've already outgrown my side porch operation and need to upgrade my roaster as it is. So my thoughts have been to either move into a warehouse and focus only on wholesale or open a retail space to have a cafe where i could work on retail AND wholesale. I've found a GREAT location for a cafe and now need funding during a tough economic time!
