Description:
Sure to become one of the most innovative retailers in the convenience industry, Nat’s Bistro & Convenience Store Ltd. is a hybrid retail business model which incorporates traditional and proven business concepts together with emerging markets, under one all-inclusive umbrella.
Our objective is to provide patrons with 3 distinct product/services segments. Firstly as part of our product mix we provide consumers with an all inclusive alternative and lead the development of the new “fast casual dining” experience in Western Canada by providing quality fresh made foodservice items from a comprehensive menu, served in 5 minutes or less. Catering to an all-day market, items include a new Trade Marked breakfast item plus Crepe’s, Fresh squeezed juice, smoothies, yogurt cups and breakfast sandwiches/wraps through to a lunch/dinner menu of subs, sandwiches, salads, soups, to hot dishes like lasagna, pasta, home-made perogies, cabbage-rolls, and a whole host of additional menu items, including pizza pie by the slice and whole pizza pies. Secondly, we provide full barista services complimented by a fresh display of baked daily decadent desserts. The unique value proposition offers 100% natural and organic specialty coffee/tea beverages. And finally, as a convenience/specialty store we offer consumers a broad range of products from traditional name brand merchandise and take it one step further by matching product groups with Organic alternative brands. Additionally, specialty items such as unique sauces, mixes and flavor enhancers are offered, consistent with the products used in-house. To enhance the specialty mix of Nat’s, unique culinary merchandise has been added such as Kasumi knives, special cookware (Pizza, Popcorn and accessories) and home Barista products.
Eat In, Take Out and full menu evening Delivery (including convenience items) is offered.
The initial location is considered the flagship model and incorporates a few select additional products/services: self-serve counter for non-organic coffees and sweetened beverages. The location also has a touch screen monitor which accesses our in-house movie database (500+ DVDs) for patrons to rent or purchase movies (DVD and Blu-Ray). Furthermore, due to the unique nature of Nat’s, an application for a Food Primary Liquor License has been submitted.
Nat’s Bistro & Convenience Store is set to revolutionize and improve the customer shopping experience by offering traditional and quality organic products, accompanied by outstanding service, represented in a friendly, clean and inviting atmosphere that’s also modern, interactive and alive (Internet PC, Wi-Fi). Surrounded by HD LCD’s, special events are hosted and special event menus implemented, making us a targeted destination for residents of the surrounding community. The ideal community meeting place to be enjoyed by all patrons, for both consumers and diners, presented in a seamless environment that successfully blurs the boundaries of where the Bistro stops and where the store begins.
Strong location (17,000 commuters between operating hours, only convenience store in 12 square miles, City works yard with 600+ employees and Senior high 1200+ students across the street). Exclusive Market (16,900 residents in residential community...200,000 in municipality, 1.4 million across the bridge). Solid marketing campaign initiated: in-house promotions, state-of-the-art POS/Database management, Customer Loyalty Cards, through to extensive advertising in City papers, direct mail and vertical programs.
The flexibility of tailoring the business model to specific markets, locally, regionally and nationally together with our commitment to being neighborhood oriented stores, with a balanced mix of traditional and contemporary merchandise is conducive to an opportunity for near future expansion and franchise opportunities. Upon securing market share, the goal of the company is expansion.
