Description: I would like to open a small niche restaurant. I want to open what I would call a cereal bar. My dream is to contact both kellogs and general Mills and contract them to provide just about every type of cereal they provide. I would set I up almost like a frozen yogurt shop. With dispensers lining the walls that the customer would just self serve from. I would have a big toppings area, fresh fruit, granola, almond, dried fruits whatever you could possibly think to put on your cereal. I would have all the milks you could imagine. From whole milk to silk milk, and specialty milks such as banana or strawberry as well. I would try to implement either a pay per bowl system with say half off refills or a weight system. I'd want to have comfortable seating, some couches with TV's and such to give it a honey feel. And I'd want to have a make your own box option, where kids or adults could come and mix n match different cereals to take home in their own box. I'd want to stay open 24/7 . I know it may sound like a silly idea. But everyone loves cereal. I personally eat almost nothing but cereal, I feel that this is a big idea and I've been sitting on it for the past 20 years. I think if done correctly this could be a new chain with multiple stores across the country and maybe even in every state. I'd want to open in college towns first. I would very much like some feedback.
