Hello, how's everyone?? My name is Melinda and I am from Queens, NY. I have recently started a company with my boyfriend Raymond called Altruism Entertainment. The purpose of our events is to provide unforgettable, one night events and give people a place to come and release from the everyday stresses of life, if at least for one night, by providing them with world renowned entertainment. During my younger years going out, it was these events that got me through the hardships of life and kept me going and now I want to give back to the community by providing these same style events that have been the most memorable nights of my life. Our events will feature live entertainment and art as well as stunning visual entertainment and provide a place for other artists, musicians and promoters to network. I have always been a nurturer and have found joy in taking care of those close to me and others in need without ever thinking twice. I am always the person going out of my way for people and now is my chance to do it on a larger scale and provide people with a chance to release themselves from their troubles and let go for one night. We only live once and life is definitely short and it is these times that make it worthwhile. I then want to use the money acquired from these events to open a restaurant/lounge of my own. Just to give you a little info about myself: I have worked in the nightlife/restaurant industry for 8+ yrs and have full knowledge of the industry. I am an artist, I make jewelry, play piano and compose electronic music on my PC. I come from a large family of 6 brothers all of which live in Long Island where I was born and raised. I have a daughter and a stepson and am coming up on my 30th birthday (yaaayyy). I am honest, genuine, down-to-earth, and a compassionate people person who wants to do good and leave my mark in this world. I love nature and am happy to be alive.
