Description: I am starting a Bridal Boutique in Houston, Texas. I will offer designer brands along with couture/custom styles. My brides will have the option of designing their own dresses if they choose to. I have found retail space (1,900sq ft) across the street from the 4th largest shopping center in the Nation and one of the fashion capitols! My boutique will be next to Nordstrom's Rack and The Grand Lux Cafe. I have several manufacturers that I will be working with; top names include Vera Wang, Maggie Soretto, Alfred Angelo, and Christina Wu. My mark ups will be between 1,000% - 3,000%, that may sound high, however, my competitors are making up 3,000% - 8,000%. All of the dresses will be custom made, there will be no off the rack purchasing. I doing so my overhead costs for inventory will be cut drastically, also it will give my brides custom dresses made to order. I have a business plan I can send you should you want more information, and I am in the process of getting funding for my store. Consumers will choose my store over my competitors because my business will offer them more than just a great value at an invaluable location. We will have referral programs, give aways for marketing, and we will give brides a gift certificate towards another purchase just for selecting us. Our boutique will make each bride feel like a star while offering the best price in the area. We will also have a wedding planning service available and we will sell gowns, brides maid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, flower girl dresses, shoes, veils, and accessories.
