My mother and I are in the process of starting a dog grooming/boarding/daycare business. I had to mark real estate because I couldn't find anything else appropriate. At this stage, we are a seed company. We have put a binding contract on a building and land for our business along with $1000 earnest money. But we only have 60 days to secure a loan. Our problem is, we don't have the money to put down on a loan. The bank is asking for about $40,000 down. The building is a house that was rezoned for commercial use only. The seller was asking $229,000 but accepted our offer of $190,000. We feel it is a great opportunity, if only we can find help in getting it started!
