I am currently seeking funding for a non profit organization about Shaken Baby Syndrome. My son was shaken by his father between the ages of 2 and 3 months. I would like to provide new mothers and fathers with information about shaken baby syndrom and to provide support for families dealing with this issue. Financial assistance for counseling, workshops, and medical financial help if possible. My goal is to make shaken baby syndrome known to everyone. Everyone needs to know how important it is to NEVER shake a child. This is a rough draft of all I have planned. Here in Georgia we really don't have many resorces that caters to this one particular situation. Child abuse support groups are common but nothing for this particular type of abuse.
