BackBeat Music Instruction offers private and group lessons to all ages. Primarily, we focus in preschool music for specific motor skill development and coordination, and focused and goal-oriented private lessons. The learning at BackBeat goes far beyond just notes on the page, as BackBeat teachers focus on self-esteem and confidence, proper motor skills, listening, and self expression.
Since opening in December of 2007, BackBeat has grown from zero to one hundred plus students. The growth has been through word of mouth and literally no web presence.
In 2009, BackBeat intends to keep growing a strong client base, integrate outside learning events with other organizations, develop various types of cirriculum for individual student needs, expand into after school programs throughout the Chicagoland area, and continually create a warm, but yet modern and innovative, learning environment for children and adults.
