Description:
EarthWatch is a growing business in the environmental sector based in the Niger Delta, Rivers State of Nigeria. One of our focus is water supply and sanitation. The challenge of clean, safe and adequate water is a huge challenge in the South-South of nigeria and the whole country. The kind of water peole depend on and how much they are willing to pay for it, shows that if clean, safe and affordable water were made available to the people, they'll pay. The governments are far from meeting the demands of the people; some are trying but it will take a minimum of ten years for them to satisfy 50% of the ever growing population. EarthWatch organizes the Nigerian Water and Sanitation Forum annually and is privy to several researches done on the water challenge of Nigeria. With our experiences also working with State governments we have good insight into the water needs of the people and their willingness and ability to pay. This is why we wish to branch into the bottled and packaged water business in Nigeria. The competition is high, but we believe that with the right marketing and promo which involves the quality of the water and its affordability, we can capture the market in a 24 period.
