Description:
In 2009, i-vu's investors restructured and created Worldwide Interactive Media Inc. (WIMI). WIMI was formed to function as a digital signage aggregator. i-vu's 7,000 screen network was too small to interest media buyer accustomed to buy ad spots on TV, cable and radio. WIMI's goal is to acquire established networks with a combined total of 20,000 in-place interactive screens and 1 billion impressions per year.
To achieve this goal, the stakeholders of WIMI formed Orion Equity Holdings (OEH) in 2011. OEH acquired WIMI and additional assets to increase its valuation to $50 million. OEH will be listed on the the Deutsche Borse Stock Exchange in the fourth quarter of 2011. Through OEH, WIMI will be able to acquire aggregators that will enable it to meet its goals. OEH is seeking equity investors to provide $ 2 to $10 million for operating capital and cash to acquire networks.
