Storyvalues is a multi-leveled character education resource for schools and families. This resource uses the wisdom contained in multicultural folktales and myths in a variety of ways: recorded stories, videos, curriculum supportive classroom lessons,professional development and teacher training, live performance and websites, to inspire the development of positive character values in children.
The first phase of Storyvalues (for schools) is already used in almost 600 schools across Canada. The product is being developed by Creative Director Matthew Giffin (Paul McCartney, CBC, Sesame Street), Storyteller Cheryl Thornton MFA and Educator Michele Blumberg MFA.
